Graphic Designer

Work Experience

4-8 yrs experience in a graphic or web design position

 

Qualification

Bachelor’s degree in graphic design or multimedia field.

The Opportunity

This role focuses on supporting the delivery of the marketing strategy and business objectives through creative design that accurately reflects the firm’s brand and corporate identity. GENRIC’s Brand, Marketing & Communications team is responsible for the design and production of proposals and marketing collateral that support our business objectives for all business partners (GENRIC and its UMAs).

Additionally:

The role requires up-to-date knowledge in the design industry, balanced design abilities to be able to be guided by a strict corporate identity across many brands, and also a creative flair that can be applied to new concepts and projects. The new team member will work on a variety of products, including social media, web and digital projects, retail adverts, magazine adverts, brochures, exhibitions, corporate identity, etc.

Key Responsibilities

  • Collaborating with the Marketing Manager, internal teams, clients, and partners on graphic design and web design projects.
  • Learning and working with various types of software for digital and or print marketing.
  • Creating artwork and collateral such as presentations, brochures, web banners, etc.
  • Building webpages and maintaining websites.
  • Providing design support to the marketing team.

 

Requirements

  • Skilled in Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, and Indesign).
  • Experience in graphic design, pertaining to print and digital campaigns.
  • A strong eye for visual composition.
  • Understand HTML
  • Experience with WordPress and Elementor
  • Effective written and verbal communication skills.
  • A high level of attention to detail.
  • Proficient with Microsoft PowerPoint, and Word
  • Able to give and receive constructive criticism.
